Biography

Dr. Brock (Ms. Jennifer McFerran prior to 2009) has been at ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ since receiving her PhD in 2009. She is currently serving as the Associate Dean for Academics in the College of Engineering, as well as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering.  Her area of specialization is fluid/thermal systems. Courses taught include ENGR A151 Introduction to Engineering, ES A346 Introduction to Thermodynamics, ME A313 Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamics, ME A441/L Heat and Mass Transfer with lab, and ME A442/A642 Advanced Fluid Mechanics. She is a volunteer program evaluator (PEV) with ABET and has participated in in numerous campus-wide assessment- and accreditation-related initiatives, most recently serving as a tri-chair of the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Institutional Self-Study Committee from 2016-18 in connection with the institution’s regional accreditation.
