Biography

Nicolae Lobontiu has been with the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ since 2006 and is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering. He was also associated in research/teaching with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Dynamic Structures and Materials LLC, Vanderbilt University, and Cornell University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.  Dr. Lobontiu's research interests are related to flexure hinges, compliant mechanisms, vibrations, system dynamics, and micro/nano electromechanical systems
