- How do I find out who is my Justice or Legal Studies faculty mentor?If you are assigned a Justice or Legal Studies faculty mentor in the Justice Center, this information is available in DegreeWorks. You also can contact the Justice Center to assist you at 907-786-1810 or uaa_justicecenter@alaska.edu.
- How do I make an appointment with my faculty mentor or class instructor?
The Justice Center Faculty and Staff page lists contact information for each faculty member. The administrative staff do not schedule appointments for faculty. Students are strongly encouraged to email their assigned faculty mentor or class instructor to request a meeting if they cannot meet during the posted office hours.
- What is a course sequencing checklist?An advising checklist is a list of all of the requirements that must be completed in order to graduate from a given major. A checklist for each of our Justice and Legal Studies program options is available in our office. A course sequencing sheet can be requested from Jo Walker at uaa_justicecenter@alaska.edu. To track your progress towards graduation, log on to DegreeWorks.
- How do I register for the Justice and/or Legal Studies exit exam?
The exit exam is available to students who apply for graduation in the same semester. If you need permission to take an exit exam early, please email the appropriate Justice or Legal Studies program coordinator for your major or minor for approval.

- How do I register for a Justice or Legal Studies course if I do not satisfy the prerequisites
for the course?Students will need to email the class instructor for permission to enroll. To avoid delays, please include your full name, 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 ID number, CRN, course name, and the error message in the body of your email with your request. Contact information for all faculty and staff can be found in the Justice Center directory.
- How do I declare a minor?To declare (or drop) a minor, email your request to Degree Services at degrees@uaa.alaska.edu or complete the Declaration of Minor form on the Registrar's website.
- I am a pre-major. How do I change to a full major?Students who are initially admitted as a pre-major have not completed the prerequisite course(s) for admission into the major. Students will remain in pre-major status until they complete the relevant courses in each program with the minimum grades. Once the required courses are completed, the Justice Center will submit a Change of Major form.
- How do I apply for membership with the Society of Law & Justice?
You can request a The Society of Law & Justice membership application from faculty advisor Ingrid Johnson. Membership fees should be included with your application in the form of a cashier's check, personal check, or money order. If you want to pay in cash, please email a club officer to arrange payment at the next club meeting.

- How do I apply for Alpha Phi Sigma membership?
The Omega Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma is the local chapter at the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录. Eligible Justice and Legal Studies students will be notified of eligibility and will be invited to join.
- Where can I make copies, scan, or fax a document?
A copier is available in the student lab, which is located in PSB 216A. Students can log on and print up to 20 pages. For more than 20 pages, to fax, or to scan, please see Jo Walker in PSB 234F.
- Do you offer any scholarships or other financial aid to help pay for tuition?
