She felt like the professors were more like colleagues as opposed to high school teachers. One piece of advice she would give to someone considering the MA program is: 鈥渕ake sure it鈥檚 what you really want to do. It鈥檚 going to be hard work but it鈥檚 a pretty incredible opportunity to study a lot of things that deeply interest you. If there鈥檚 something that you wanted to focus on in undergrad but couldn鈥檛, the MA is a really good place for you to do that.鈥�
