GOLD Network

Purpose

The Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) network is a new pilot program designed to keep you connected and engaged through a series of recurring Alumni and Friends events starting in 2025. Alumni Relations partners with local businesses, campus groups and community organizations to offer fun, community-based experiences that strengthen your Seawolf pride and deepen ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼’s role as a trusted community partner.

Canvas & Community: Art Tour

1st Friday of every fourth month | 6–9 p.m. | Town Square and Downtown |

Join us for Canvas & Community, where we’ll explore local art galleries and installations on a downtown loop. Meeting at the northwest corner of Town Square Park at 6 p.m, this recurring event offers a chance to appreciate the creative talents in our community while connecting with fellow Seawolves. If lost, look for someone wearing a green ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ jacket or call 907-793-0947.

Note: This is a free, outdoor walking event. Dress for the weather and be prepared to walk 1-2 miles. Food and drink are not provided but are available for purchase. Transportation is not included.

Tabletop Connections: Game Night

2nd Friday of every fourth month | 6–9 p.m. | ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Student Union |

Roll the dice, flip the cards, and join us for Tabletop Connections! Whether you're into classics like Scrabble or strategy games like Catan, there’s something for everyone. This recurring event is a perfect way to unwind, meet new people, and reconnect with fellow Seawolves in a fun, casual setting. If lost, look for someone wearing a green ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ jacket or call 907-793-0947.

Hidden Gems: Geocaching Challenge

1st Friday of every fourth month | 6–9 p.m. | Location varies |

Join fellow alumni for Hidden Gems, a recurring event where you’ll solve clues, explore trails, and discover hidden caches throughout the city! Whether you’re a geocaching expert or a first-timer, all skill levels are welcome — just bring your sense of adventure and a smartphone or GPS device. If lost, look for someone wearing a green ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ jacket or call 907-793-0947.

Anchorage Adventures: Seasonal Fun

2nd Friday of every fourth month | 6–9 p.m. | Location varies |

Join us for a surprise Anchorage Adventure every fourth month! Every event is different but always promises a mix of engaging activities and socializing with fellow alumni. From seasonal hikes to holiday-themed outings, this event provides an opportunity to experience Anchorage's best offerings while building community. Note: Alumni Relations covers the cost of the activity for alumni and up to two friends on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last. Food and drink are not provided unless otherwise stated. Transportation is not included.

 

 


What to Expect

Sign up: To register for an event simply follow to fill out the sign up form. ONLY alumni need to fill out this form. There is a field to indicate if you plan on bringing your friends. Your alumni status will be verified in our database and then you will receive a calendar invite for the events selected. Please allow several weeks to be contacted.

Communication: Any event changes will be communicated via social media, email and . Always refer to the calendar invite for the most up to date information. If lost, look for someone wearing a green ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ jacket or call 907-793-0947.

Costs: Alumni Relations covers the cost of the activity for alumni and up to two friends on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last. Food and drink are not provided but are available for purchase. Transportation is not included.
