She is an honorary commander for the 673d Air Base Wing on JBER and sits on the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness advisory council, ASD School Business Partnership board, Better Business Bureau Northwest + Pacific advisory committee, and has served as the director and co-director for the Alaska Ski for Women event. A graduate of Context International and the Foraker Group鈥檚 Catalyst for Nonprofit Excellence program, she was named one of Alaska鈥檚 Top Forty Under 40 in 2021 and a finalist for the Young Professional of the Year in 2023.

Jessica Jacobsen, B.S. 鈥�13, M.S. 鈥�19, board president, is a construction management alumna and project manager professionally. Jessica likes to stay active in her community and holds a seat as vice president and founding member of the board of directors for a small nonprofit, Katie's Handprint, helping families impacted by pediatric cancers. In her free time, she enjoys riding on her motorcycle, cycling or hiking in the mountains and entertaining friends.
