As铆 mismo fue. Ella bailaba y ven铆a, 'eh y todav铆a usted no est谩 ah铆'.

Robinson: I dance they way they danced, and when I'm upset I will dance with a person who is mounted (in trance).  There are people who are mounted who come to my room to get me, "Let's dance" they say, "But I don't dance", I say, "Let's go", they say, and we start right there and they turn me around.  It was exactly the way Hilda told you.  Mal茅 was the one who didn't let Oddu leave. Things were not right in those times.  I don't know exactly what was wrong in religious matters, but that's when people started to fight with each other, and there was a lack of respect.  That's how it was.  It had to be Hilda.  It happened without ceremony.  The drum was playing, Fidela was seated with her saint, sitting there in front, "I am going, you cannot go alone", you cannot leave me here, do whatever you feel like doing".  She danced and said, "Eh, and you are still not there".  It was beautiful, I tell you, she danced and said to him, "No, you have to wait so I can go with you.  Wait for me, we have to go back there together.  I am going back to to our land too".  They were dancing here and there, going back to the house and suddenly he came out from behind her.  I tell you, some things you just had to see for yourself.  That's when Oddu came down and filled the house with people in trance.  And Mal茅 stood there, "Stay here with me, and forget about Africa".  Maria Fidela's saint pulled him back.

Melba: There's a story about Oddu Aremu at the Lagoon that they told us, that talks about Oddu wanting to go back to Africa.  Do you know anything about that story?  Have you heard of it?

Guyito:  Well, I am Justo's granddaughter, and according to people who were around at that time, this is what happened: Oddu went there on the head of my grandfather (My grandfather was in a trance with Oddu Aremu) and he sank into the lagoon, and in order to get him (Justo) out they had to dress the path with lots of white sheets and say respectful things to Las Mercedes, who is Oddu, until finally they were able to get him out, and that was when the Lagoon at the refinery Central Espa帽a became consecrated with Oddu Aremu.  Oddu Aremu was there.
