Why is ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ undertaking an expedited program review?
Expedited program review is resulting from a $70 million decrease to the university system over a three-year period. Last October the Board of Regents charged each university to undertake an expedited review of its academic programs and administrative services to meet its share of the reduction.
The board’s direction means ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ leadership must make difficult decisions about the number of academic majors the university will be able to offer in the future, as it also considers additional cuts to administration.
