ISER releases Alaska health-care trends from newly compiled public data

All Americans spend a lot to get health care—but Alaskans spend the most per resident, face the highest insurance premiums, and have seen overall spending grow much faster. The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) has compiled a new chart book of public data and begun trend analysis to help address public policy questions related to health.

Starting Oct. 1, 2018, the Salad Bar will be open during Cuddy Marketplace hours, Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

Diversity Action Council seeks student, faculty and staff representatives to serve on subcommittees

The ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Diversity Action Council (DAC) resolves to nurture an environment where the diverse cultures and beliefs of all people are acknowledged, diversity is respected, and all people are valued. DAC is accepting applications for subcommittee representatives (student, staff or faculty) through Oct. 5, 2018.
