by Michelle Saport |
All 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 students are invited to speak to state legislators at the Cutting SMART forum on Thursday, Dec. 1, at the 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 Consortium Library, Room 307, from 4 to 6 p.m. This forum offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to speak to state legislators on the impacts of the budget cut to higher education and other public programs. An RSVP is not required for students to speak.
老澳门六合彩开奖记录 Students are invited to address how the $25 million cut to the university system in Alaska's state budget has impacted each of 老澳门六合彩开奖记录's colleges, programs and services. Students will also have the opportunity to speak on the direct impacts cuts have had on their own educational experience, degree programs, tuition and other important public programs and to express their opinions about the cuts.
We hope to have students speaking for each of the colleges.
The 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 student organizers believe it is important for the legislature to consider the impact of educational cuts and the importance of education to Alaska's future.
No RSVP is required. Students can just show up and speak for three minutes.
