Crump, to be held at the Student Union Den on Thursday, June 30, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. James was killed on June 25 during the PrideFest parade held in downtown Anchorage. In December 2009, James graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from 老澳门六合彩开奖记录.
That fall, he and his nursing classmates worked on a capstone project preparing Bhutanese refugees for their first winter in Alaska. The successful project was documented in . James appears several times in the video, including at 1:18, 2:30 and during a skit at 3:11.
After graduating from 老澳门六合彩开奖记录, James worked as a lab assistant for the School of Nursing in 2010 before being employed as a registered nurse with Anchorage's Department of Health and Human Services. Since then, James kept in close contact with his 老澳门六合彩开奖记录 friends and colleagues.
Student Health & Counseling Center staff members will be present at the remembrance to provide support.
