The Cama-i Room is a social gathering place and study center for all ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ students. Cama-i Room programs and activities celebrate Alaska Native, Native American and Alaskan cultures.

Get the Stink Out! Free Laundry Soap

Monday, Jan. 31, 5-6:30 p.m.

Washing your clothes is a good habit. Stop by to get a free scoop of High Efficiency laundry soap that will leave your clothes smelling fresh and clean. Also pick up some good laundry tips that will keep your clothes the colors they are supposed to be!

Stick 'em Up! Duct tape roses and more!
Tuesday, Feb. 1, 5-9 p.m.

Alaska is the number one consumer of Duct Tape. Use it for taping packages, sealing leaks or fixing a broken tail light on your car. We'll try making roses, wallets, purses and more!


Tune into Fire Drills: A Chance to Win an iTunes gift card
Tuesday, Feb. 1, 5-9 p.m.

You should know how to be prepared for fire drills that are held on campus. Stop by to complete a short quiz about fire drills and be entered to win an iTunes gift card. Try your luck, maybe you'll walk away with new music and some new information!

Pick up lessons for the future or learn about what it's like for parents everywhere. Come watch "Teen Mom," a show that explores what young moms and dads go through during their first year of parenthood.

Wednesday, Feb. 2, 5-6:30 p.m.
Need a friend? Since you can't have a cat or dog in your room, then create your own pet rock for company! Rocks, googly eyes and hair will be provided!

Sharing Traditions: Kuspuk Sewing
Thursday, Feb. 3 6:30-9 p.m.
Create your own kuspuk to wear. Three yards of fabric is needed. If you don't have fabric then contact Karla Booth at (907) 751-7452 to find out how you can get some. Don't forget to bring ric rac of your choice for embellishment. We have two sewing machines to share, so if you have your own please bring that along as well! A new art project, artist, or elder will be offered each Thursday. All are welcome to take part in the activities and meet the special guests.
