In the book she recounts her attempts to follow trash from her apartment to landfill. Her investigations lead to sometimes hilarious, often surprising, and ultimately important discoveries. Besides Garbageland, Royte has written about rain forests and on other environmental topics for Outsiide, National Geographic, and other publications. Admission is free.
