Biography

Mrs. Gerken-Miller has over 10 years’ experience managing Human Resources and agency-provided direct service workforce training, in addition to the agency administration of AKTC provided training. She was part of the management team at Trinion Quality Care Services for over 5 years where she managed key marketing and staff recruitment efforts. She is a certified trainer for the Alaska Core Competencies and has been providing this for over 3 years both internally for Trinion and for AKTC. She is also a lead facilitator for Hands of Peace, offering conflict resolution workshops for individuals throughout Alaska.

She was born and raised in Alaska, growing up in a small village. In her time off, Liz enjoys making jewelry and paper crafts with the help of her 2 cats. Summers are spent enjoying the outdoors with her husband, friends and family.
