a variety of training designed for working professionals. These courses are tailored
to professionals eager to expand their knowledge of key project management tools and
principles applicable to a wide variety of fields include everything from IT, telecommunications
and healthcare, to banking, construction, the military and more.
These courses are available to individuals or groups, offered both as on-site courses
in several locations during the year, as well as via live video links. Courses can
also be customized for cohort groups and/or delivered at a desired location. All course
registration fees include learning materials and meals.

Current Offerings
Introduction to Project Management
Introduction to Project Management provides an overview of project management processes
and principles for people working in and associated with project teams. The course
covers the basics of project management and establishes a common 鈥減roject鈥 language
beneficial to people working with project teams or newcomers to the project environment.
This tailor-made and delivered course is designed to introduce concepts of project
management to individuals and teams who work together on or in support of projects.
The course can also help bring an existing team up to the same level of understanding
of project management concepts and tools. It can also be customized to meet the unique
needs of different organizations, and delivered to ensure that participants understand
and retain information most relevant to assisting with successful delivery of a particular
project.
This course is offered on an as-needed basis and requires a minimum of 8 participants

Project Management Using MSP 2019
This course allows participants to learn how to schedule activities efficiently, assign
resources economically, and track project performance effectively. Participants will
master scheduling and tracking concepts through hands-on experience with MS Project.

PMP and Disciplined Agile Exam Prep - Only offered by
Business Improvement Group (), a local consultancy, is the only entity authorized by the Project Management Institute
(PMI) to provide Project Management Professionals (PMP) bootcamps or Disciplined Agile
training and coaching in Alaska. This partnership (PMI ATP) allows Business Improvement
Group to collaborate with the University of Alaska, PMI AK Chapter, and more to provide
the necessary exam preparation to earn a PMP or Disciplined Agile certification.
Courses are offered monthly, and on-demand for groups of 12 or more. In-person and
virtual course delivery options are available. Nights and weekend available for working
